Taking the joy of food online
In collaboration with the talented team at Fjord Stockholm, Little Nice Things contributed to the creation of this responsive E-commerce platform for one of the major grocery retailers in Sweden.
Hemköp is one of Sweden’s biggest supermarkets, built on the back of a reputation for what they call matglädje – the ‘joy of food’.
The content of the platform focuses on meals, not just individual products, communicating the joy of cooking.
Customers can choose between having their groceries delivered to them at home or click and collect from the store, which makes receiving their purchases much more convenient.
The physical and online sides of the experience work together flawlessly, joining the dots between retail and online, using data to increasingly improve the experience.
The Process
After qualitative & quantitative research conducted by Fjord, rumbles & workshops with users & stakeholders, was the time to wireframe the e-commerce platform in close collaboration with the client before move to final Design.
The visual language based on the chromatic scene of Hemköp, reduces the amount of colour to give a clean look and feel.
A visual inventory was created with buttons and respective hover states, iconography, chromatic scene and typography.
We defined a responsive grid, and visualized in different break points the possible scenarios.
With a pixel perfection Visual Design we delivered all the assets and measurements from which developers could use straight away. Always working in a collaborative and agile environment.
