A boat sharing app.

We match people who would like to be on a boat, with people who are willing to share their boat. In real time.

Summer 2013, I was boatless. I wasn’t the only one...

By observation and interviews, I noticed there was a need to facilitate the communication between boat owners and people who would like to be on a boat during those warm summer days. I ideated that the best way to do that was with a simple boat sharing app. Quickly, I started to sketch and wireframe how the digital experience would be.

With the first wireframes, I gathered feedback from potential users, and at the same time I validated with a development team in terms of feasibility. After validating the concept and execution, was time to progress with a functional prototype using InVision and to define the look and feel of the brand, moving forward with a pixel-perfect visual design in Sketch.
